DEV LOG #5: VFX, Game Network Responsiveness & further improvements
We were not joking when we said that Engines of Fury starts the new era of crypto gaming, which will be packed with stunning visuals, epic gameplay, and rewards.
Our game developers can tell you that the teaser trailer was just a small taste of things to come, compared to what team is preparing to release further.
Progressing with VFX & AoE development
Art team continues developing visual effects (VFX).
Current focus is AoE abilities that will come in a range of forms and shapes, from explosions to smoke to rectangular to cone-shaped. Every single AoE ability will add more depth to the gameplay and have unique VFX attached to them.
Continuing with network gameplay responsiveness improvements & testing
Game developers are focusing on the network gameplay responsiveness to assure smooth and convenient user experience while playing the game. It’s a massive achievement as it will minimize the lag and allow players to enjoy all the gameplay modes & in-game perks without having to worry about the network issues.
Character ability system expansion confirmed
With a sustainable and well-functioning network, we will be able to expand the existing system’s capabilities. This update will bring even more diversity to the game as players will have a chance to choose from many different builds and gameplay styles.
