DEV LOG #7: More in-game items, additional customization, VFX & animation sync

🔫 Additional in-game items
You might have noticed that sometimes we say that we’re right on schedule. We’re not saying that lightly because not only is that true, but we’re actually ahead of the schedule!
That’s why the art and game design team banded together and will be almost doubling the items that were originally planned when the game starts.
This translates to even more item variety for players, making the champion builds and strategies even more diverse right from the get-go.
Now that’s something you don’t see every day in web3 gaming, if at all.
⚙️ More character customization
Since we’re moving faster than planned, we decided to improve the game features that were designed from the very beginning.
Character customization is one of those features, as it’s one of the things we promised our game will have. As such, we’re expanding on it and adding more skin tones, haircuts, and so on.
We really want to give our players the option to create a unique in-game character with a distinctive look so you can look good while you fight. Through detailed character customization, you can do just that!
💥 Ability & VFX animation sync
One of the highlights of this development update is something that’s not flashy but immensely important. We’re talking about the sync between the VFX animation and ability input from the players.
This ensures that the real-time gameplay, especially the action-packed fights, will be as smooth as possible, giving our players the best possible game experience.
We’ve tested this plenty of times and are happy to say it’s working flawlessly. The players will really feel like their champions are extensions of themselves.
