This week, we’re proud to present an interview with BTC12 Capital, a blockchain-centered investment fund that played an integral role in helping many blockchain projects take off and reach new heights!
BTC12 Capital provided us with more information about why exactly they chose to support Engines of Fury.
First off, can you tell us more about your fund?
We’ve been a part of the crypto world for many years, and we have always been pursuing the latest trends and technologies. Keeping a keen eye on the latest developments is detrimental to success in business and this is the main reason why we are planning to shift our focus towards gaming. More precisely, the metaverse.
There are probably many projects you could have chosen — how did you decide on investing in Engines of Fury?
After I spoke to Saulius Aleksa, the CEO and founder of Engines of Fury, I discovered we share a lot of similar ideas and we both have more than a few overlaps in the business itself. We both worked on a lot of trustworthy projects, so the familiarity was there from the get-go.
The team behind Engines of Fury also has a lot of experience in game development, as well as crypto. The passion is there, but more importantly, they have the necessary skills to bring their vision to life. They all have high standards when it comes to game design, and I am absolutely positive they can deliver a quality game with top-notch gameplay and gorgeous visuals.
Can you give us your take on GameFi and its potential to bring about the mass adoption of the blockchain?
It’s the perfect marriage between games, ownership, and incentives, the core values that are quite frankly missing from traditional games.
We’re still at the early stages but I believe we’re about to witness a huge acceptance of GameFi. It’s just going to take a tiny bit of time to go through the growing pains. It all depends on the available talent pool and the quality of the games themselves. I want to see more developers putting in the effort required to make a good quality game like Engines of Fury.
What does it take for a crypto game to stand out in today’s saturated market?
Good question. To stand out from the competition, a crypto game needs to have sustainable tokenomics and a level of quality present in most modern AAA titles.
Which feature of Engines of Fury are you most excited about?
It’s hard to choose just one after reading the full list of features. I am excited to try all of the 4 game modes (PVE Training Ground, PVE Boss Fight, PVP Duel, and Tournament) and I can’t wait to try my luck at the NFT marketplace.
What will you name your champion and what champion class will you choose to play as?
I’ll probably go with the Swordsman and I’ll name him Fury Leifeng.
