It’s about time to present our first investor-Kyros Ventures. Kyros Ventures is a growing GameFi powerhouse in Vietnam and globally.

We are super excited to share why exactly Kyros Ventures chose to support Engines of Fury.

First off, can you tell us more about your fund?

Kyros Ventures is a pioneer in incubating early stage blockchain and cryptocurrency projects in Vietnam. It is built upon the solid foundation of the Coin68 ecosystem consisting of exclusive partnerships with the top crypto entities in the Vietnamese Blockchain industry. Coin68 is a leading crypto media outlet in Vietnam with nearly 3 million pageviews per month.

There are probably many projects you could have chosen — how did you decide on investing in Engines of Fury?

We see a significant growth potential in the NFT industry in general as well as in Engines of Fury in particular. It’s interesting that Engines of Fury is the retro-futuristic world 3D auto battler where players can engage in exciting game modes, customize and upgrade champions while winning tokens and earning up passive income. With Engines of Fury, all the problems of crypto games like boring, repetitive gameplay or overly simplistic art will all be solved with the replacement of addictive gameplay modes combined with deep lore, stunning 3D visuals and animations, especially the crypto aspects are seamlessly tied into the gameplay with an organic need for tokens/NFTs. We believe that the innovation of Engines of Fury will narrow the gap between traditional 3D games and retro-futuristic blockchain gaming in near future.

What is your take on GameFi and its power in bringing the mass adoption to blockchain?

Blockchain for gaming has long been thought of as the perfect combination as it solves many of the legacy problems of the gaming industry. Technology like non-fungible tokens allows users to own their in-game assets, preventing the challenges of account theft. They could even port them between different games, opening up new avenues of value for the sector. Today, GameFi is revolutionizing the $150 billion dollar gaming industry, with close to 3 billion players around the world. We all can see that the gaming world, along with the development of the metaverse, is set to become part of a larger ecosystem for which creators can innovate and earn through creation. The play-to-earn model for GameFi certainly exceeds existing models of centralized games because it allows for the transfer of value in-game with the sale and exchange of NFTs. GameFi is on the rise to be the biggest driver for bringing crypto and blockchain to mass adoption. With public interest growing around its capabilities, players, along with NFT creators, all stand to gain a profit by jumping on board.

What crypto games should have in order to stand out from today’s crowded market?

Innovation: This can take many forms, and is often linked with being first. We think a novel project is one that attempts to either do something that hasn’t been done before or take something that has been done and build off that foundation in a creative way. These projects, for us, are usually defined by their ambition and creativity.

Utility: The genesis issue is the embodiment of utility complete with some novel game theory to go along with the compelling tokenomics. The underlying technology of NFTs is destined for more than just housing image metadata. A project should seek to leverage the NFT as more than just a JPEG is a good way to find additional value as well as potential revenue and liquidity. We are intrigued by the idea of the media company leveraging NFTs to build out intellectual property around the early blockchain scene. And the hard work a team put into developing a project with this level of utility will show how the project would be growing.

Timelessness: This is another principle that may be associated with being first. However, a project doesn’t have to be first in order to be timeless. A project’s commitment to its mission shows its determination and consistency to bring great value in the long term. Investing in something timeless likely carries with it an additional thesis about the thing you’re investing in. The further the project could go, the more successful it could be.

Community: To us, community is a very important factor. A bad community can kneecap even a great project while an excellent community can make good projects unstoppable as it shows the strong connection between the project and its global users.

What is your most anticipated feature in Engines Of Fury?

We are interested in the Boss Fighting feature. We’re kind of interested in the retro-futuristic arenas. And here we are able to fight against the Boss in a simulated and animated 3D fight. Other than that, this would take us into the next level of challenge since fighting against Boss has never been easy. Imagine the second when you beat them all and earn $FURY tokens as well as have the chance to get weapons to form up a stronger character and get ready for the next fight. The feeling is good!

What are your expectations from Engines Of Fury for 2022?

We are looking forward to the full game launch in Q3, 2022. Besides, we want to see a wider connection and expansion of Engines of Fury global communities.

What will you name your champion and what champion class will you choose to play as?

We choose swordsman and name it “De Slayer”
