Last week, we covered our core update — champion mobility (if you haven’t caught that yet, read up). Now let’s take a look at what other upgrades it brings to our table.
The introduction of full control & mobility mechanics was a game-changer (excuse the pun) & provided players with a great level of freedom. To take full advantage of that, we had to rethink our approach to battle arenas to give the players more space for action and exploration, as well as diversity.
Stoneport arenas were already brutal and bloody, where combatants were forced to defeat their opponents to earn their loot (more on lore here). Now, we made them even bigger and better through the introduction of dungeons.
To expand Engines of Fury universe we introduced two features:
- Dungeons and biomes (location & element based) , through which players will explore remnants of Stoneport.
- Variety of dungeon configurations, which will provide diversification whilst going through the same biomes.
💬 You’re always welcome to visit our TG & ask questions directly about the game & project.
Stoneport dungeons were (re)built with amazing attention to detail in order to capture the post-apocalyptic atmosphere and they are explored through PvE gameplay mode, where players will be able to both fight AI monsters and their minions & roam different Stoneport locations looting for lucrative rewards.
Check our revised whitepaper to learn more about PvE and PvP gameplay.
Arenas are naturally PvP based, where players can participate in single player or teamed staked and non-staked tournaments, where the winning player or team takes almost all the entry stakes and can even receive additional rewards.
That’s it for now. We have more to talk about soon, so keep a close eye on more EoF news!
